UK-based kids, parents & family panels firm: The Insights People has added eight new team members since the start of the year, taking its headcount to 54, with a further 16 hires planned. The firm says that so far in 2021 it has added one new client every week.
Established only in 2017, the Manchester firm provides real-time data on the attitudes, behavior, and consumption pattern of families. Kids Insights surveys more than 5000 children every week aged 3-18, and Parents Insights more than 10,000 parents of children between the ages of 1 and 16 every month. Both services operate in 13 countries across five continents, with 2020 additions for Kids Insights including Brazil, Canada and Australia, and Russia and China: Parents Insights was rolled out across all these markets in January this year.
Three of the new appointments are in research and business development. Ricky Myers joins from Argentina-based kids media agency KidsCorp as Business Development Director for Latam; Georgie Martin joins from the BBC as Research Manager, and Rachel Gleave joins from Manchester-based Media More Sales as Research Executive.
Jon Parnham, Andy Patterson, and Jack McKelvey all join as Junior Developers having graduated from the Northcoders academy; while Gemma Just and Victoriya Holland are added to the marketing team as Graphic Designer and PR & Marketing Executive respectively.
The sixteen new staff sought will work across finance, tech, data science, research, sales, and account management functions.
The company has also made four additions to its Advisory Board. Prof. Dr. Ger Graus OBE, Global Director of Education at KidZania; Danielle Davis, former VP Content Partnerships & Revenue at of Discovery; Tony Allen, CEO of the Age Check Certification Scheme; and Dr. Gemma Taylor, Lecturer in Developmental Psychology at the University of Salford will all help to shape the business’ future development.
